I know what I said! Once everything was said and done, I didn’t like the last comic’s style near as much as the previous style. And here it is. I might be doing more single panel comics for time’s sake, however.
I couldn’t resist poking fun at the iPad. Not to say I’m not excited about it (I’m sure developers are going to make this thing a hit), but as of right now I don’t see a big enough reason to get one. I’ll wait until the second or third gen. By then I’m sure that my netbook will be obsolete and Steve Jobs will have persuaded me to pick up his latest creation.

I went out and bought myself a sketchpad and inking pen a couple days ago, and figured I’d do something different this volume. The current style will be much more time effective, not to mention totally fun and different.
EDIT: I polished it up a bit in Photoshop and I’m a lot happier with it. Look for a new one later this week!

FINALLY! Almost a month later, the conclusion to Season 1 is here, and for such an event, 6 panels of glory! After finishing this, it has given me the motivation and excitement to keep this going some more. I’m not going to dedicate myself to any sort of schedule, and I don’t think that I will go along with the graphic novel format either. Either way, see you all in Season 2!

FINALLY! Sorry for the wait, everyone. I finally sat down and pumped this comic out last night, and I have to say that it is one of my favorites to date. The background turned out really well, and I love how Tree Frog looks in the Propeller Suit. I struggled with how I was going to give Pakkoderm the Penguin Suit, and originally was going to have him with the Fire Flower, but over all I think it turned out awesome.
On a similar note, if any of you have a Wii and have not picked up New Super Mario Bros. Wii, DO IT! Its really an awesome game. I’m almost through the initial run through, and will be going back to get all of the coins, star coins, secrets, etc.

As midterms are still all upons, I present another guest strip this week! Let it be known that I love seeing my characters drawn in other people’s style. This comic has been a personal exercise in developing my artistic abilities, and seeing others’ interpretations of the characters just makes me glad I’m going this!

This week, once again, is crazy with school, but I will be working hard to get a strip out by the end of the week. New Super Mario Bros Wii comes out on the 15th, and I am PUMPED for it! In celebration, we’ll see how Pakkoderm, Dorgon, and Tree Frog deal with being sucked into the Mushroom Kingdom.

I just sent my desktop computer back to HP today for a replacement fan, leaving me with only my laptop to do comics on! Its a little bit more of a pain to do it, but because I am dedicated I need to pump out more!!! Kudos to HP by the way for their awesome warranty work. I’ve had some great service from those dudes.
My goal is two strips a week, but school is starting to rear its nasty head again. Must…press…on…
