I recently discovered a sweet set of daily avatars based on the Twitter default avatar done by @apelad on Twitter. I thought it would be cool to do a set of Team Jetpack 104 avatars as well, which I soon discovered is a lot hard than I originally thought. I’m going to rack my brain for some other ones, but I have renewed respect for @apelad. Anyhoot, enjoy.

Got to drawing tonight after playing X-Box 360 with Max, my brother. This is what came of it. It is just shy of 1680 x 1050 and is currently my desktop wallpaper. Feel free to use it for the same if you like. Also, here is a video of the process if you so wish to indulge.

POWERS: Sustained shouting.
APPEARANCE: A short, boorish character with a pronounced widow’s peak and large lips. Muscular, with the ability to engorge himself with vast amounts of energy.
BRIEF HISTORY: Vageta is the last of an extinct race of super wrestlers, known through the galaxy for their abilities to taunt and shout at each other without every actually fighting.

POWERS: He never blinks with his huge, watching eyes.
APPEARANCE: His eyes are very dry, and he’s dressed like a professor.
BRIEF HISTORY: A horrific science experiment sent his eyelids to another dimension.

I’d like to formally announce the first Team Jetpack 104 contest, which is named “Villains Contest!”
Contest Deadline: Wednesday, October 7 @ 5:00 PM MST.
How to enter:
1. Head over to the Team Jetpack 104 Facebook page, located here.
2. Find the “Discussions” tab and click thereon.
3. In the “Villains Contest” thread, enter the name of your villain, along with the a one-paragraph backstory. Creativity and originality is a must!
What’s up for grabs:
1. Your villain featured in a four-part story arc on Team Jetpack 104.
2. A custom wallpaper of your liking featuring your villain.
